The Objectives: 

The objectives of this lesson are based on the Louisiana Social Study Content Standards, as follows:

    The Material and Resources

    In this lesson students will go and visite some websites related to to the topic "International Relationship: Travelling to Indonesia". They will read an artcile or a summary  about Indonesia. This includes the information about location, area, islands, provinces, population, history, government system, languages, ethnic groups, religions, and interesting places all over Indonesia.
     


    The Process

    1. Students will search and read a short article or summary about  Indonesian. To enter 
    2. Students will search and find some important information about Indonesian, such as the geography, people, islands, provinces, religions, languages, and some related information in the webs.
    3. They can use some search engines, such Google, Yahoo, Lycos, Ask Jevees, All the Webs, Ixquick, and Alta Vista if necessary.
    4. They have to make a note or summary about the information they found, such as the Indoneian geography, areas, people, languages, religions, administrative divisions, and some interesting places to visit.


    Evaluation

    1. Students will answer some questions about Indonesia for grades.
    2. They may discuss in briefly to answer certain questions.
    3. The scores are range from 0 - 100 points.
    4. Grades: A  (91 % - 100 %); B (81% - 90%); C (71% - 80%); D (60% - 70%); F (less - 59%).


    QUIZ

    Answer these questions briefly. Each question has 20 points. The total score is 100.

    1. Briefly discuss the geography of Indonesia!
    2. Briefly discuss the population of Indonesia!
    3. Describe the population of Indonesia based on their religions!
    4. Describe the languages that people of Indonesia used in communication!
    5. Find and write a summary of five interesting places in Indonesia.
